Blurb: Some things crumble under pressure. Others are tempered by it instead. For three former soldiers, a tragedy might be the catalyst that binds them together—stronger than ever.

Richard Horn and Timothy Davenport met in the SEALs twenty years ago and have been lovers ever since. Now running their own paramilitary organization, Strike Force Omega, they work in the shadows to protect their country and its people. When Tim falls for Eric Newton, a deadly sniper and strategist on their team, Richard accepts that Tim’s heart is big enough for two men. He respects, admires, and even desires Eric enough to accept him into their relationship—and their bed—but he’s never been fully a part of what Eric and Tim share.

Then Eric is captured by terrorists and Tim is gravely injured in an op gone wrong, bringing Richard’s world crashing down around his ears. Even if he gets his men out alive, Eric must face the aftermath of months of physical and psychological torture—and without Tim to lean on, Eric’s PTSD is tearing him apart. Richard has to figure out the third leg of their triangle fast, or Tim won’t have a life to come back to.

Review: I really did not know what to think about this story. On the one hand it starts out that Eric is captured and tortured while on a mission. Timothy goes to take care of business on still another mission and ends up seriously hurt. He is out of commission for most of the book so the story centers on Richard and Eric’s relationship.

We have three strong men, two of who have been injured, and one who is trying to hold them all together until they recuperate. You would think after four years Richard would know Eric better than he did in the story. It confused me that he did not know how to comfort his own partner in his time of need. It was almost as if they were just starting their relationship.

Never-the-less it was a well written riveting tale of three men who struggle in the face of relationship issues and personal injuries to overcome the odds and come out stronger than they were.

Great read.

Blurb: Will love set them free—or seal their fate?

In the sixty-seventh century, Trev, a master thief and computer hacker, and Khim, a vat-grown human android, reluctantly share a cell in a floating space prison called Steering Star. Trev is there as part of an arrangement that might finally free him from his father’s control. Khim, formerly a combat android, snaps when he is sold into the pleasure trade and murders one of the men who sexually assaults him. At first they are at odds, but despite secrets and their dark pasts, they form a pact—first to survive the prison, and then to escape it.

But independence remains elusive, and falling in love comes with its own challenges. Trev’s father, Dante, a powerful underworld figure with sweeping influence throughout the galaxy, maintains control over their lives that seems stronger than any prison security system, and he seeks to keep them apart. Trev and Khim must plan another, more complex escape, and this time make sure they are well beyond the law as well as Dante’s reach.

Reviewer: Shorty

Review: I enjoyed this story of androids being produced with no metal and all outward appearances were human. Khim is such an android. He was produced to go into the military, until an injury causes him to be reprogrammed and put into the pleasure slave category.

Trav is Dante’s adopted son. He is supposed to do whatever everyone else does but takes his own path. Upon meeting Khim his life changes. They both work together to figure a way out of the situation they are both in.

Intriguing and interesting this story keeps the reader’s attention with action, mystery and romance. I will warn the readers that there is a group rape scene in the book though.  I loved the plot, characters and setting of the book.

Great read.

Review:

My Heart is Within You. Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 Hearts

Kristair is an ancient vampire looking for a body for his heart to inhabit before he deteriorates. He hears voices though he’s not sure they are real. He sees Jacob at a football game and becomes immediately entranced with the young man. He takes to learning everything he can about him. Jacob knows someone has been following him. When he finally meets the man he has dreamed of the attraction is instant. When he learns of who Kristair is is he worried? Of course, but that does stop him from wanting him? No.

I loved this story. It flowed seamlessly and wrapped the reader in a layer of mystery. I am assuming the story will continue in the next book as there are questions that were not answered in this one. Nevertheless I loved it.

Haunted by Your Soul. Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 Hearts

A lot went on in this powerful continuation. Kristair has been killed. But before he was he transferred a piece of his soul and all his memories to Jacob. Jacob wants revenge on the poor hungry vampires for the torment the put Kristair through but Kristair’s memories force him to see reason. The syndicate is after Jacob so Jacob finds an ally in Tony who came back from the collective and then killed again.

It’s a fascinating story that takes you deeper into the vampires world. I thought the collective was a brilliant addition. I loved that the theory is that souls are around each other not just drifting aimlessly. This is where Kristair ended up while trying to get back to Jacob.

Our Sacred Balance. Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥ 4 Hearts

This book was vastly different from the first two. The main thing being Kristair is human in this one. So he is adjusting to what humans can and cannot do after spending thousands of years as a vampire. While it might seem simple, it was not. I much preferred him as a vampire myself. Along with that change comes the fact that someone is killing vampires and Kristair feels he must look into it despite no longer being paranormal himself.

There were tense scenes and hot ones but I felt the book was seriously lacking as opposed to the first two in the series.

0verall:

All in all this bundle was a great read with plenty of hot action, mystery, suspense that takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of two people’s lives and what they must endure to be together.

Review: This is a continuation from the first story. Leo is ready to move onto to the next step in his and Dakota’s relationship. After begging and asking Dakato finally say yes to the marriage proposal.

I really enjoy these characters interactions and the way they seem to take their time insted of just jumping into things.

Enjoyable read.

Trouble comes to Mosely, Montana, from the outside world. When the residents of Mosely are left on their own, they can make things work. Sure, there’s always been a militia operating up in the hills, but they were small-scale—just survivalists doing their thing—until organizers came in from out of state. Now Jericho Crewe and the rest of the sheriff’s department are facing down a heavily armed band of fanatics, and the feds are busy elsewhere.

The odds are hopeless, but Jericho swore an oath to serve and protect the citizens of Mosely. He won’t walk away from that, even if Wade Granger’s begging him to run away somewhere and finally be together the way they always should have been.

But this time, it’s Jericho who refuses to leave Mosely, even if staying kills him.

The only problem is that he actually has no choice in the matter, and the alpha is already here to collect what’s his.

Only humans can carry shifter babies, but the problem is they often die when doing so. Still, Vaughn is willing to pay good money for Andy to take the risk, even if Vaughn is risking that his children end up with terrible red hair.

What he doesn’t expect is the instant attraction that hits him—or wanting this human so badly.

But surely it’s just a normal attraction. He can’t possibly have a natural mating with this human…could he?

Review: Falsely accused of theft Andy is put in a program to breed with the highest bidder. He is sold to Alpha Vaughn. Vaughn has no intentions of getting close to Andy as humans are the only ones who can have shifters children and usually die in childbirth. Unbeknown to him fate has other plans in store for him.

It’s a great beginning to the series as we see how cold Vaughn is toward Andy. I’m actually surprised Andy stayed as I would not have. I loved Andy. He was so sweet and innocent. I just wanted to hug him as the story progressed.

Highly recommended.

Blurb: As the Reign of Terror tears Paris apart, a dandy and a spy are thrown together on a desperate race through France.

In the darkest days of the Reign of Terror, rumors grow of the Star of Versailles, the most exquisite treasure ever owned by the doomed Marie Antoinette. For Vincent Tessier, the notorious Butcher of Orléans, this potent symbol of the ancient régime has become an obsession and he’ll stop at nothing to possess it.

When Alexandre Gaudet arrives in France to find his missing sister and nephew, the last thing he expects is to fall into Tessier’s hands. With Gaudet tortured and left for dead, salvation stumbles accidentally, if rather decorously, into his path.

For Viscount William Knowles, life as a spy isn’t the escape he had hoped for. Yet a long-held secret won’t let him rest, and the fires of Revolution seem like the easiest way to hide from a past that torments him at every turn.

Adrift in a world where love, family and honor are currencies to be traded, the world-weary Viscount Knowles and the scandalous Monsieur Gaudet have no choice but to try to get along if they want to survive. With Tessier in pursuit, they search for the clues that will lead them to the greatest treasure in revolutionary France—the Star of Versailles.

Reviewer: Shorty

Review: I did not know what to make of this story the first few chapters but then the characters seemed to come alive and piqued my interest. They were night and day from each other. Gaudet was anything but boring with his over the top personality. I found myself liking him from the start. William is me reserved and quiet as is expected of someone on the hunt for something.

Together these two go on amazing journey with deceit, betrayal, danger, action and drama hot their heels the entire way. But they do get close to one another as the story progresses.

I liked the fact that there was a whole cast of characters introduced in the story that played one part or another for the two men on their travels. It was entertaining and enjoyable to the very end.

Great read.

Review: Oakley and his family are struggling to deal with the grief they feel after Oakley’s sister’s death. The family rents a cottage as a way to get away for a while. While at the cottage Oakley meet Bobby who is friendly yet secretive. The two strike up a friendship.

I really liked that despite his mother ignoring Oakley that Oakley found someone to confide in. The real stunner was discovering who Bobby is. I did not expect that, it was a great surprise.

For a short read it was a really great story.

Review: Everett is a witch and something more that he learns about. He’s also a bridge master able to create a bridge between two worlds. He has a crush on Bryce from the dojo. When the two boys grow closer Everett suspects that Bryce is more than human. Going against his grandfather’s wishes Everett sets out to discover the truth about Bryce.

Along the way he puts himself in dangerous situations. I really liked Everett’s determination to find the truth about everything. Though I felt he should have used caution during certain circumstances throughout the story.

It was a really good story with magic, romance, supernatural creatures, mystery and suspense. I could not stop reading one I started as I wanted answers as well. Well written and interesting.

Review: I loved this amazing story from start to finish. Spine-tingling and exciting this story takes the reader into a journey about finding the truth, facing danger and overcoming almost unstoppable odds. Zach, a doctor, treats Raven, a man brought in beaten severely. Raven is untrustworthy of everyone but Zach with good reason.

As the story continues we discover a sinister plan to eradicate all those who oppose the government regarding the aliens. The aliens themselves broke my heart as they have not done anything wrong. They are only trying to get home. But since the government told all that the original invasion, which was not an invasion, was taken care of they have to find the remaining alien children left behind and do away with them.

Raven intrigue me from the start. He was unique in some of abilities and I found him fascinating. Zach was definitely a huge payer in helping the aliens as he was fighting for the truth. When all is finally revealed I was awestruck at the deception the government went to.

You have to read this story it was so good. I could not put it down until the very end. Highly recommended.

But that isn’t about to happen any time soon—not while Albert, one of The Clan’s twelve Leaders, oversees everything they do.

Knowing how freeing that has been, he wishes The Clan laws were different and that he and Salford didn’t have to kill, freeing them from that dreadful closet, too. With a London gang discovering vampire-wolves exist, and Salford having dreams that tell him what they must face next, Salford and Ruby must eliminate the men who are after them. Review: Unique and highly entertaining. Ruby and Salford couldn’t be more different tha night and day. Ruby loves to dress up in heels and pretty dresses and has a great personality. Salford is more reserved but serious and thoughtful. I loved the fact that they were both vampire and wolf which was rare.

Not all approved of them and their relationship. Amid trying to lay low they have to work for The Clan by killing others that threaten their existence. But both Ruby and Salford do not want to do it anymore. They set out to find a way out of it. What they discover is a sinister plot that puts Ruby’s life in danger from someone who should have been watching their backs.

I loved everything about story. It intriguing, mysterious at times and action packed at others. The whole story was well written and flows smoothly as you immerse yourself into a power struggle of epic proportions.

Review: I really wanted to love this bundle. But alas I was unable to enjoy it as much as I normally would. Each story had great plot ideas but failed to keep the reading smooth. I was unsure whether this was done deliberately or not. At times I found myself annoyed at some weird sentence phrasings.

I feel each main character of the stories should have had background stories, yet some did not. As a result I was disappointed. But aside from those things it was a good read with great ideas to expand on or go through and eliminate some things while adding others.

This bundle is a total of five stories in the series that have werewolves, fairies, dragons, wizards, humans, imps, firebirds and quite a few others are in these stories as they all struggle to survive and to find the one they are meant to be with for all time while overcoming prejudices and danger. Dramatic and entertaining to a point this bundle has it all.

Good read.

Review: A man on a mission, Jacob sets out to Italy to discover what happened to his mother and Caleb. Unbeknownst to him an ancient evil is about to invade Ben’s lover Sam and cut down all in its path in brutal fashion. While I love horror stories this one was confusing at times.

There some confusion on my part at times to where exactly the location was referring to as it changed suddenly with no warning. As with all horror books there is a lot of death in brutal fashions throughout.

There were also a lot of POV’s throughout the story. Some I felt were unnecessary to have. Sam was super scary at times in his possession but he also confused me before he was possessed. Ben was sweet and seemed to care for Sam a lot.

I really liked the plot of this story but the delivery was a little wrong to me so it made it impossible for me to enjoy it as much as I should have. It was an ok read.
