Blurb: Christian has never had a serious relationship in his life. He doesn’t plan to start with an alpha wolf shifter who thinks he can dictate what Christian is and isn’t going to do. Ward Malone might trigger every warning bell Christian has, but he also triggers every sexual fantasy. Christian wouldn’t mind giving in to Ward if fun was all he wanted. Unfortunately, Ward is an all-or-nothing kind of guy.

Review: Each book in the Roguefalls collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.  They are entertaining and have just the right mix of feelings in them. There is also quite a bit of danger or excitement in it as well.

Christian is a human in a paranormal army.  His mother was a single mom who had a difficult time making it easy; in fact she made his life pretty hard in a way.  So he looks on other people to be similar in certain things.  Family and mates would leave him behind, so he pushes them away.  That is until he finds himself a mate to an alpha wolf.

Ward only came down to check on his baby brother, not to find his mate.  A stubborn man he never knew before, yet he is the exact same way.  These two fit perfectly, but as one can guess it is going to take, well I am going to let you read the story to figure it out.

Now with this story and series, there really is no action other than with mates.  I am a bit disappointed with that.  I was hoping for something major to happen, but basically it is just a story about two guys who are hot for each other and are stubborn asshat’s at the same time.  Now that doesn’t mean the story doesn’t rock because it does, I was just hoping for a bit more bite to it.  I did enjoy reading it and look forward to the next book.

Blurb: If opposites attract, nothing is more opposite than a tough human soldier and an omega wolf shifter cook.

A human soldier and an omega wolf shifter find out they’re mates in a world where segregation between humans and paranormals is standard operating procedure.

Dylan Kole knows how to do one thing, and that’s to be a soldier in the human army. He doesn’t know how to fit in with a bunch of paranormal beings, and he certainly doesn’t know how to be a mate to Rudy Malone, the only omega wolf shifter on Roguefalls Island. One thing Dylan does have going for him is his ability to follow his instincts.

Review: I came across April a few months back with her first series came out, and she soon became a favorite of mine.  The worlds she creates are so unique and different then many that are out there that it is an enjoyment when I get my hands on her books.  The characters are fully developed and have a bit of a bite to them.  To top it off they are so damn sexy, makes me want to go out and find one for myself.

In this world humans are segregated away from the paranormal’s.  The humans have their army and the paranormal’s have theirs, although that is about to change.  Dylan was kicked out of his home for being gay.  Thanks to a nice sheriff, he was told to go to the human recruiters and join.  He knew he was destined to die. Then sometime later, he was being given to the paranormal’s army to figure a way to bring them together.

Rudy is the one and only omega for the paranormal’s army.  He just wanted to get away from his nutty and over protective older brother.  He was their best damn cook, but all that changed when in walked two humans.  One of those humans just so happens to be his mate.  Wow, talk about a shock to them all.

The only complaint I have, is I wished they were longer because I didn’t want to put the book down.  Even right now after having finished it, I want to go read it again.  It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.  This story gave me everything I could want in a good story and I cannot wait till the next book gets here.  Way to go April!

Sage Rickman was in the wrong place at the wrong time. At least that’s what he think when the vampires kidnap him. Working through the mental anguish of all the vampires did to him is difficult to get through to say the very least. Peace of mind is an elusive creature though. He thought finding his mate would make things better, but trust doesn’t come easy.

Garridan Arach can’t remember anything about his past. He’s been in his dragon form far too long for a normal shifter to take. Being feral is the least of his worries though, especially when his memory starts coming back. Not that he cares about his past. All he wants is his mate. A mate that keeps rejecting him every time they’re together. His past has a way of catching up with him, and he discovers things that will make life in Saint Lakes less than peaceful.

Review:  Each book in the Saint Lakes collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.  This series is connected to the Wingspan series but I would suggest reading this series first.

My mother got me started reading romance stories at a pretty young age and it just seem to click with me from the first one.  It wasn’t until about two years after I started reading that I realized I actually liked the paranormal ones the best.  Then close to four years ago I accidentally downloaded two m/m romance stories.  Let’s just say once I got over the shock, I started reading more and more of them.  So much so that I cannot read any books with girly parts in them.  My mother got a kick out of that at least.

When April wrote her very first book and I got my hands on it, I knew that she was going to be a big hit with me and I was right.  Her characters are unique and very fresh to me.  Also her worlds just seem to hit with my desires.  I knew from that point on that she was going to be an automatic buy from that point on.  I have not been let down yet.

There is something about the way that she writes, that not only draw you in but keeps you there.  They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them. They not only entertain you but captivate you throughout the whole story. For me once I start reading I can’t move until I find out how they end. Her characters are also very fascinating and unique to me.  The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down.

You don’t come across many books where the characters are dragons so imagine my delight when I found out that they were in April’s stories.  Garridan is a powerful dragon shifter who had just lost his best friend.  His friend and his wife left behind a beautiful young boy who was afraid to let him out of his sight, but Garridan knew he had to find out who was behind the killings and end them.  Too bad for him, he hadn’t counted on being caught and kept for many years.  That is until he is found and rescued over forty years later, nor to find his mate.

The ones that had Garridan had also kidnapped his mate, Sage.  The things done to Sage is horrific and evil, but between the two of them well you will just have to read the book to find out more.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: Each book in the Wingspan collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.  This series is connected to A Saint Lakes series so I would suggest reading those first.

Every once in a while you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across April awhile back when she had written the first book.  I knew from that moment that she was going to be one of my favorite authors of all time, if not the top one. There is something about the way that she writes that not only draw you in but keeps you there.  They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. To me there is nothing better than a good old paranormal love story.  There is just something about them, that even though they are not possible one would think different.

Caerwyn is having a difficult time with things.  His parents died five months ago leaving him a ranch that was in debt, a brother who was in trouble and a mate that didn’t want him.  What was a dragon to do, well he had to let go for one.  When he was asked to go to Saint Lakes to help them out, he had not expected to see his mate, nor for his mate to run.

Rory is a bear shifter who loves to be alone.  After his first shift, he had left his mother to make his own way.  Now he has seen his mate, and his damn ass was going to have to make a decision.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. Review: I first came across April when she put her very first book out, and I knew that she was going to be one of my favorites. When I came across this at first I chose it because of the fact that April wrote it, but this is not one of my types of stories so I was a bit leery. However I knew, since April wrote it, that I needed to see what it was going to be like. I was so damn glad that I had, because this one absolutely rocked.

Jimini and his little brother lived behind the walls of Adam City, never stepping out to see what the outside world was like. There is very little surface water in the world these days, and they had to trade things for water.  Jimini and his brother were very good at gardening so they were given a bit more water than most. However Aurri always kept his nose in the books, and dreamed of what the outside was like.

Then to Jimini’s shock and horror, Aurri took off.

With the help of a slaver, Jimini set off to find his little brother and bring him back to safety. There were many different types of danger out there, and it would take them all to reach their safe haven. However Jimini had fallen in love with Aaruth and the decision would be hard either way.

I have always loved April’s other stories even reading them more than a dozen times, but this one has probably got to be my favorite of them all. I do hope that there is a second book, with Aurri in mind. I think he has a crush on another slaver, but I guess I will have to wait and see what April comes up with.

This story has a weird tone to it, which not only fascinated but kept me trying to guess what would happen next. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read it again. The fear one goes through, when a loved one disappears is paralyzing and I am glad to have seen a happy ending for this story.

I loved it, April, and I can’t wait for your next book to come out.

Review: Each book in the Demon Elite collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. I would start with Lakehouse Security first though.

Cosmo’s life growing up was not a picnic and he had gone to jail a couple of times until Justine recruited him. Now he worked for the best teams. From the moment he met Derek, he was fascinated and wanted the man. Too bad Derek never looked twice at him.

Derek has wanted Cosmo from the first moment he saw him, but there was no fraternization among teammates. After catching Cosmo breaking in, he knew it was time to switch sides. He had his suspicions that his boss was doing illegal shit, but now he had to protect the man he was falling in love with.

In these books what makes them even more special is the fact that most of the guys have a bad past life. They don’t trust fully until you prove that you can be trusted. Liam and Wolf are just like that. Liam has not had the best home life and the one person he loves is his little brother. So when Finn stopped calling he knew something was up, he just hadn’t expected to be caught up in it also. Now he needed help for them both.

Wolf found Finn and a few other hostages in a broken down home. When he rescues Finn, he realizes that Finn’s brother is in just as much trouble. However when he takes on look at Liam he knew that this was going to be his man. He just had to get him to believe him. Because damn his little man is one hell of a feisty firecracker.

Review: April Kelley has always given me a story that is not only entertaining but makes the room over heated. I would however suggest reading Lakehouse Security book one first. You start with those so by the time you start this you will see the characters cross over.

Not only are the guys hot and carries guns, but they go in a save the day. There is something about the way that this author tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it.

Elijah’s life has gone to hell ever since his mother passed away. His family is all so damn crazy and as evil as they get. His uncles and cousin were the worst. He was ordered to help kidnap a man, and when he refused they showed him exactly what pay backs were. He was saved by a group of men, but everyone was out to get him. It was up to Crash to help him or find out if he is as guilty as the police say. The problem is he was an assassin not a baby sitter. He was falling in love with the man.

There is a lot of action, suspense, adventure and danger in this book. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their lovers with their entire lives. I had a blast reading this story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story. Review: Each book in the Pickleville collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Seth had been young and foolish. His dad had wanted him to go out and be something more than just a farmer or rancher. His boyfriend had agreed with his father. He had left there and basically blamed them for their decision. He swore he would never go home again. That is until he got the call saying his father had passed.

Carter had not been as sure as Seth was about them. He loved him with his heart but at the time he had agreed with Seth’s father. It had cost him, then a few things went wrong and his life was going to change. So when Seth’s father passed, he got to see Seth again. It had been five years and so much had changed. Especially for him, with a cute little girl who seemed to help them both heal after their past.

This was one of those series that you couldn’t wait to grab the next story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. I loved the guys and Issy was a blast.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Review: Each book in the Pickleville collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Robyn had been so in love with Caden five years ago, but that changed the moment Caden left him to join the military. He had pretty much abandoned him. So when he saw Caden, for the first time in five years he knew he was in trouble. It seems his heart didn’t want to let the man go. Didn’t mean he had to go easy.

Caden had loved Robyn when they were younger, but not like he should have. He had wanted to get away and learn about himself. That and he needed money for college. What he learned was that he missed the man more than he had expected. He realized it almost too late. Now he had some serious ass to kiss.

When these two get together they set the sheets on fire and cause every one a bit of friction burns.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by April. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down.

Aiden has been in love with Justin for some time now. The problem is Justin chooses his job every time over him. He feels like it is killing him, so he finally ends it. After a year and a half, Justin is getting his shit together. Justin wants his man, and now he has to prove that he has changed. Then the danger comes for Aiden and Justin has to get him back. He will do everything he can to show Aiden that he means what he says. When these two get together they set the sheets on fire and cause everyone a bit of friction burns.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story. When April puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.
