Review: Each book in the Council Enforcers collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is also connected to the Whitedell Pride and Gillham Pack collection. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

Mael has finally met his mate, right before he had to go help an ex-boyfriend with some shifter problems.  Scott is a sweetie, but has a little bit of a jealous problem.  So what do you get when you put Lenny, Mael, Scott and Mael’s ex in a room together, a laugh a minute is what you get.

I love the way Catherine puts together a story that not only draws you in but keeps you entertained as well. They have a serious tone to them, but there is quite a bit of humor floating around.  Well the enforcers now have their very own Nysys and Keenan, and his name is Lenny.  I love how protective they are of their mates, even when they are being asshats. I do get a kick out of the whole thing.

They are not long size novels, but just the right size for me to really enjoy. They have so much depth and details that if will feel like you are right there with them. I love that there is even the hint of danger surrounding them sometimes. Trust me that this is one series that you will enjoy quite a bit. I loved it and cannot wait for the next book to come out.

Review:   When I first saw this book I wasn’t too sure if I wanted to give it a chance or not, especially since I have not had a chance to read anything by this author before.  The cover is a bit dark to me, but it turned out that it fit the story perfectly.  It is a romance story, but it is a dark romance with a serious tone to it.  I just wasn’t too sure about the story though.

Dominick was born into a huge mob family, but he decided to take a different route, which made sense because being gay in the mob family usually got you killed.  A few years ago he had save a male prostitute that was one of his uncle’s boys.  At first it was to protect but soon fell into love.  That love ended the moment Rob decided to go out on his own.  Rob had been controlled by Danny and feared Dominick would do the same.  He realized right after leaving that he had made a mistake.  However it was the end of their story.  That is until now, when they ran into each other on the subway.

Rob was in charge at an institute for kids that were criminals.  Dominick’s latest murder leads him right to one of those kids.  The two are thrown back into each other’s lives, but the dangers from the past might still be waiting for them.

As I said above this has a dark and serious tone to it, but the romance is slowly building once more.  It is like a lost love that has been rekindled.  I am still not really sure if I like it personally, but the story is pretty damn good.  It was very entertaining and kept my attention from the start.  I enjoyed reading it and can’t wait to see what book two has going for it. Although I will admit that the title doesn’t do it justice.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.  I think what I love most about this series and the ones they are connected with is that even though they are tough shifters or nix, they do have a soft spot for those around them.  Also the fact that it isn’t just one or two kinds of shifters, you get a wild mixture which makes it more fascinating.  Then you add in nix’s and it is going to get wild.

A house cat shifter with a ducks name and nicknamed Rabbit.  Rabbit lived on the streets as a normal black cat that is until Ms. White picks him up as a stray.  Then she wants to neuter his ass and oh hell no, he is not going to let it happen.  Then shifters come to his rescue and lets just face it, Rabbit is an cat with an attitude.  Guess he is just like a normal cat.  Then in comes his mate, or should I say two mates with a twist.  It seems like Rabbit and Samuel are mated to Elton, but not to each other.  Now is that a tongue twister or not.

I love the way Catherine puts together a story that not only draws you in but keeps you entertained as well. Review: Each book in A Loving Nip collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. In fact I would recommend reading the very first series that leads you to this one. Wolves of Stone Ridge is the starter that many different series branched off, so I would start with that one first. There are about five different series, so you will definitely be entertained.

I came across Charlie when she wrote her very first book for the Wolves of Stone Ridge series and never looked back. You will meet a group of alpha that want the love of their mates. They live many centuries and their mates make their lives better and a bit interesting. Most of the time they have their serious tones but there is quite a bit of humor mixed in with them that make them even more fascinating for me. Each story will have danger, excitement, adventure, and a touch of kink to them that will keep your attention the whole time, like it does for me.

Pascal and his brothers were rescued from their old lives and brought to live among a vampire coven.  It was definitely a change for them, to live with no fear.  The ranch is a nice place to heal, but Pascal is a bit different.  He is learning that he is definitely a submissive, but is afraid to let the others know.  That is until his mate shows up.

Abner is one of the few who cannot be tranced by a vampire.  He found that out the hard way.  Now he is let into the secret of the paranormal world and is fine as long as no one wants a snack.  He is interested in a bit of fun with the dingo, but nothing to serious.  Too bad for him, he is a mate.

I love how Charlie puts together a book that will draw you in and keep you captivated all the way to the end. Charlie has become one of my favorite authors, and I am glad to see that it will never change. This is one book I would recommend.

This series is also connected to the Whitedell Pride collection. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

Catherine Lievens has moved up the line to be one of my top favorite authors and from the way her stories are told, she will probably stay there. Her characters are quirky as hell, protective to the point of well you can guess that answer. I still have my ultimate favorite ones but many start to work their way into my heart. Her stories also are full of action, suspense and danger plus some hot sexy time for our guys. They catch my attention the moment I start reading and keep it all the way to the very last word. This story gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more.

Neriah is a nix and is feisty as hell.  He is a blast to get to know and his mate is in for a shock.  He is trying to get his tribe to realize that they need to live their own lives, but his focus is on his mate as well.  A mate that is human, a reporter and doesn’t believe in soul mates.

Connor is just trying to help the public know that the paranormal’s are not a danger to them.  That they just want to live their lives in safety, mate and take care of their people.  He had not expected to find himself a mate.  To top it off they were in danger from the hunters and well if you want to know more, you’re going to have to read this amazing book.

I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Catherine writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series. There is something about the way that she tells you a story more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it.

This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break or when you just need the sun to shine for you. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: I’ll keep this short and sweet, because what you see in the blurb is basically what you get in the novella. I have to say, when I want a quick, satisfying escape from reality, AJ Marcus books are really thoroughly enjoying. While The Fool isn’t at the top of my list of favourite reads by Marcus, I admit that I enjoyed the story enough that I am curious about the rest of the series.

The story is about Ramsey and Arron. Ramsey is just an ordinary type of guy who is very easy for the reader to relate to, he’s just trying to get by and wants something more in his life when it comes to love. Arron is from family who possesses magic and they use their magic to protect the world from daemons – something that they have done for thousands of years. Basically, think of them as Buffy the Vampire Slayer except its one family doing all the work.

These guys were once boyfriends and have never really fell out of love. The problem was that Ramsey had issues with Arron’s unique family situation and the magic involved. Understandably this led to the situation where the guys broke up until they were brought back together two years later. In the blurb and in my review, it does make Ramsey sound incredibly selfish, I suppose in some ways he is, but still it works and somehow I still found Ramsey a likable character. However, this situation does make the reader more sympathetic to Arron – I mean, he couldn’t help that he came from a family daemon slayers.

Of course there are more family secrets and it makes it, overall, a bit of wild ride.

Review: This is a sweet and sexy short by AJ Marcus. Of course it is a Christmas story but who cares, even at Easter there is nothing as charming as getting lost in a Christmas story. So many come out at Christmas it’s impossible to read them all anyway.

Bear shifter, Bran Coffee is stranded in a snow storm on his way to his clan’s Christmas festivities. Being a bear he wants nothing more than to hibernate a few days during the cold. When he stumbles across a cave, the perfect place for a nap, he meets the hot and sexy dragon shifter Sly Draco. He’s a hermit and although very lonely doesn’t really realize that what he wants is love.

Totally satisfying – totally charming – lots of fun – and very sexy!

Zane was raised to see the evil that was in the world. With monsters surrounding their village on all sides, it seemed very simple what the evil was. Until Zane meets Tancred and starts to question everything that being a villager stands for.

Tancred knew from the first moment they met that Zane was his other half. Learning that the man was the kin of the humans that destroyed his family caused him to run. Will Tancred learn there is more to Zane than his last name? Or will he lose the man that is the other half of his soul?

Review: Zane is to follow in his father’s footsteps as the leader of their village. He’s heard the stories of monsters throughout his life and how his family was the ones to take them out then a truce is called.

Now eighteen Zane meets Tancred and feels a connection. Tancred has no love for humans as they killed his family. The Tradition is interesting as when a demon finds his other half he can be hurt by hurting the other half. I found it intriguing that Tancred and Zane were mates. However the exact species of certain individuals was a little vague. For instance it states that Tancred was an elemental and produces electricity and that’s it.

But, due to Tancred’s anger he refuses Zane for five years until Zane’s father figures out the bond between them.

I like the story and am looking forward to Lucifer’s story with his mate.

Review: I came across April a few months back with her first series came out, and she soon became a favorite of mine.  The worlds she creates are so unique and different then many that are out there that it is an enjoyment when I get my hands on her books.  The characters are fully developed and have a bit of a bite to them.  To top it off they are so damn sexy, makes me want to go out and find one for myself.

In this world humans are segregated away from the paranormal’s.  The humans have their army and the paranormal’s have theirs, although that is about to change.  Dylan was kicked out of his home for being gay.  Thanks to a nice sheriff, he was told to go to the human recruiters and join.  He knew he was destined to die. Then sometime later, he was being given to the paranormal’s army to figure a way to bring them together.

Rudy is the one and only omega for the paranormal’s army.  He just wanted to get away from his nutty and over protective older brother.  He was their best damn cook, but all that changed when in walked two humans.  One of those humans just so happens to be his mate.  Wow, talk about a shock to them all.

The only complaint I have, is I wished they were longer because I didn’t want to put the book down.  Even right now after having finished it, I want to go read it again.  It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.  This story gave me everything I could want in a good story and I cannot wait till the next book gets here.  Way to go April!

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

Over the years that I have been reading I soon come to the conclusion that I do have favorites.  Catherine Lievens is one of those authors that just seem to bring a smile to my face no matter what is going on.  Her stories always leave me wishing that I was in them.  There is a joy in them as well as many other feelings that just seem to brighten my day every time I read them.  I will admit that when she puts a new one out, I go and read the entire two series that are connected before I read the new book.  It connects me a bit easier with the story, knowing who everyone is and what they stand for.  Plus I just get a kick out of some of the guys.

Geoffrey was a human who basically hung around the pack.  His mate was a wolf, who is very shy and doesn’t really acknowledge him.  It has its ups and downs that is for sure, but it all changed when Geoffrey came across a windego dying.  She had save three little ones and brought them to the pack for safety.  The oldest Mingan was not even a year old but he chose Geoffrey.  Now all they need to do is to get William into the act.  To top it off Mingan’s father shows up and if you want to know more, pick up the book.

I always get a kick out of these guys and this didn’t change that at all.  I loved Geoffrey, and once I found out why William was the way he was, well let’s just say he is a sweetie.  I just wanted to hug him to death.  I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Catherine writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series. I have been reading romance and paranormal’s for over 30 years and can honestly say that I love a good paranormal romance more than any other kind of story.  It was not until 5 years ago that I started read m/m romance stories.  The action in them just seems to be more believable then when it is m/f.  So over the years you come to cherish and love certain authors more than many others.  It is the way they tell a story that will have you wishing you were right there with them.  And sometimes you wished you were the one falling in love.  This author has moved up the line to be one of my top favorite authors and from the way her stories are told, she will probably stay there.

Cerris was half nix and half werewolf, and the werewolf side was a monster.  He had been told that for so long that he believed it.  Not even when others tell him he is not one, he fears that side of him.  So the boss man sends him to a full blooded werewolf who just so happens to be his mate.  Now Jackson just has to keep him still long enough to, well you know.  If you really want all the juicy details, pick up this amazing book.

Review: Mercenary Mike Marshall is sent to prison for a costly mistake he made during a contract. While there he becomes a pawn in every sense of the word to the inmates of the pecking order. He is given to another inmate keelan in exchange for Keelan’s protection he gives up the knowledge he knows about Merc’s.

The politics in prison are brutal. He see’s first-hand how Keelan is under orders from the boss in the prison, Rainer. After numerous huts Rainer puts out on competition Keelan disappears and this leads to Mike being lied to and sold to others for sport. Damaged and beaten Mike’s finally released only to realise all is not what it seems as he learns about trust, deceit, and cruelty while trying to deal with what he’s been through at the whim of others.

I did not get the Science fiction aspect of the book except for the mentions of spaceships they were on and the names of species. Would have liked more details to those. But other than that it was great story with murder, bloodshed, brutality, suspense and horrifying situations that change Mike. I looked forward to the continuation of Mike and Keelan’s story to see what happens between the two next.

Great read.

Sie is a sweet and very cute little firecracker who can shimmer where ever he needs to go.  His family has set him up to bond with a female, but of course our sexy guy is so not into girls.  However he is one of the lucky ones, whose family just seems to flow with it.  Out on a little side trip to the store, leaves him overwhelmed by a group of nasty reporters, although Connor is not so bad.  But to is luck, his mate just happens to be a big old brown bear shifter.

Donovan works for the government as a go between human and pack.  Now that he has found his little mate, he just might be rethinking that.  Especially when the attacks on the pack are getting out of hand.  And you have your total asshats who are in the pack, acting like well asshats.  Kam sure does have his hands full.

I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Review: I love this riveting series so much. This book continues from the last as Eli reels from the events that took place. He struggles to move forward as secrets are revealed and characters that were mentioned are brought to a brighter spotlight. As per usual this addition is spellbinding and jaw dropping.

It was interesting to see that even though Eli is in all the books we really did not know who he truly was. I was glad to see questions I had throughout the series were answered in startlingly clarity. This is truly a wonderful gripping book.

Filled with twists and turns that you gasping and others that leave tears in your eyes this story packs a punch. I loved the history and timeline even though it was an ugly period it was still fascinating to see it all play out in the authors writing.

I will give no spoilers only say that to read the book. Highly recommended.

Review:  Each book in the Gillham Pack Series collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is also connected to the Whitedell Pride series.

I started reading romance stories at the age of twelve and was always intrigued by the worlds that authors can come up with. Then a few years ago I read my first gay romance and I decided that there was just something about them that I liked more. I, like many, have favorites that we always follow and Catherine Lievens is one of those authors for me. There is just something about the worlds that she creates that keeps me captivated throughout the whole entire book. So much so that when a new book comes out, I must always start reading the very first book that leads up to this one.

I love how there is a serious tone to it, but that it is equally matched with humor. I can’t stand a book that has no humor in it; I would rather be laughing then just sitting there. I also love how the mates are well loved and protected by their stronger mates. There is always lust, love, hot sex and a good amount of danger placed in these stories that keeps my attention as well.

Nuallan was sent to Gillham to kill the pack alpha, but he isn’t the type to hurt anyone so well you guessed it our beloved Kameron is fine as always.  He was placed in their cell, because Kam knew that the man was not a killer.  After trying to kill himself, he hides alone in his cell although his friend Alex tries to get him to leave.  Although dragging him to the big coming out wasn’t what he wanted, the man he sees is.  It would seem our little fae has found his mate.

Ethan is human and is there for the explanation about shifters, although he always knew something was up with them.  He takes one look at the frightened man across the room and knew he wanted to help.  He just hadn’t expected to be the man’s mate.  Things might just be looking up for them both.  Especially when Nuallan’s leader lets them into a big secret.

To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me. I love them especially when there are some gorgeous men in some kinky situations. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story. When Catherine puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.
