Blurb: Morality is relative. At least that’s what young sorcerer Regis Teller convinces himself. He’s done what he must to survive: working for a witch since he was nine, helping her throw the kingdom into anarchy, and taking his only comfort in her mysterious son, Crow. And soon, Regis is going to commit his first murder.

A do-gooder named Jonathan White has information the witch needs, and it’s Regis’s job to get that information and slit Jonathan’s throat. But then Regis actually meets Jonathan. And Jonathan is perfect—a hero with a passion for justice and little regard for civility.

Lucky for Regis, Jonathan has a weakness for attractive men. Lucky for Jonathan, Regis is fast developing a conscience and a heart. But for Regis, keeping both of them alive at their adventure’s end means breaking a magical oath and surviving his ruthless boss—all without telling Jonathan the truth.

Falling in love is never easy, especially when everyone involved is lying through their teeth.

Review: Every once in a while you come across an author that will fascinate you and for me Evelyn Elliott has done this. She is a new author for me, so I was a bit leery of reading this story. I love the magical part of this story. However, I wished that Crow would have had a better hand in this. He is very loveable to me.

What caught my attention was the cover and how it shows you the fantasy side to the story. Then I read the blurb and I knew that I had to read it. It didn’t catch my attention right at the start. like it should have. But, it turned around pretty fast. The characters and plot were well detailed and fully fleshed out. It also had just a hint of humor. Which for me was a plus.

Regis has learned to survive from such a young age. He worked for this evil witch since he was nine years old. Helping her take over and create trouble throughout. The only thing that helped was Crow. That all ended, when he was to kill Jonathan. Jonathan is one of those good guy/hero types, who has some information that the witch wants. Regis is to kill him, but instead finds himself caught.

Being with Jonathan, Regis is getting his heart back. His feelings come alive and he has to keep them both safe. Which is a bit hard when your boss is a powerful witch who likes to cause pain. Now, I disagreed with the not telling Jonathan everything, though. Especially, since his world is about to go crazy.

I was quite shocked by this story. It turned out way better than I had originally thought. And makes me want to see what other stories this author has out. I had fun reading this and look forward in reading her next story.

Blurb: Marcus has just become the only human ever to be Alpha of a werewolf pack and thwarted the plans of Anubis to destroy the goddess Sirius’ creation – the werewolves.

Unaware of the evil god’s plans, Marcus works together with Kellan and Ricoh, not only trying to help Nate recover from the vicious torture he has undergone at the hands of the terrorist group, The Winter Circle, but to also come to terms with leading a pack of over two thousand wolves.

Marcus soon will be faced with a dilemma, but will he give everything up for his mates and the pack or will the temptation Anubis offers him be too much for one human to refuse?

Will Marcus put his wolves before himself or will he be tricked into leaving them behind forever?

Review: Each book in the Sirius Wolves collection features pretty much the same couple although one or two is about another. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved however in this one you have a four-way mating which is hot. I have found that this is probably the only series that has a darkness to it that doesn’t seem to take away from the story. Although it can be a bit confusing at certain parts, my attention was caught from the beginning.

Marcus is a human and the Alpha of the pack. He is mated to four men and let’s just say, it can be a bit strange. He had lost both his legs in an explosion and at times they hurt just to walk from the bathroom to the bedroom. Each of his mates has problems of their own. For instance, Nate had been kidnapped and tortured. He no longer wants his wolf, blaming him for everything. Marcus must help him heal from the emotional scars as well as from the physical ones.

Nate thinks he is broken and just wants to get rid of his wolf. However it would seem his wolf and the gods have other plans for Nate. Kellan and Ricoh each have other problems. However they all love their little wolf.

Then it would seem Anubis is back and is trying to find a way to stop the future from happening. He has a plan, and it is up to the wolves to stop him.

This is probably the only series that involves the same men but in a different way each time, that I can actually get into reading. Most books just seem to repeat but this one is unique. She gives each wolf their own personality. They have different strengths and weakness that don’t take away from the other.

Now in different paranormal worlds a man who has lost his legs would not be an Alpha, but this author has given us a different twist that I absolutely found perfect. I love this story and can’t wait to read the next book. I had fun with this and would definitely recommend it. This is one journey I don’t want to miss.

Review: Foster wanted a life away from the Dairy Farm his family owns, but when his father dies, Foster has to step up and accept responsibility for a Farm that is far from debt free.

Javi is a seasonal worker on the Farm, he and his family travel to Farms across the country, following the work as it’s needed. Though Foster doesn’t have the money to pay Javi, he recognizes the dire need the young man and his family are in so he hires him on for the season.

The two click straight away, both having great ideas that could increase the revenue for the Farm and hopefully, pull it out of the red. When the friendship slowly evolves into something more, both men are scared. While there lives are very different, sadly, there is one thing that is exactly the same to spite their different cultures… bigotry.

The start of a new series for Mr. Grey and it’s off to a great start. I really enjoyed the slowly evolving relationship between Foster and Javi. They’ve actually known each other for several years, Javi’s family coming back to the Dairy Farm every year for work. They are both adults now and are searching to find their place in the world.

Foster already decided to take on the Farm and make sure his family legacy thrives and grows. Javi is far more torn. His culture alone negates him leaving his family. It’s all he knows, his responsibility as far as he is concerned. Both men will have to decide what is important, what is right.

If you are a fan of Grey’s Farm or Ranch series, you’ll love this new series he is starting. The flow of the story was slow and steady, not too fast and everything happened at just the right time. There was a lot of dialogue, more so than I remember in previous books from the Author, but it was refreshing to get both guys POV within their conversations when the story is told from Foster’s viewpoint.

Definitely a must read, I can’t wait for more from this exciting new world.

Review: Dolce is a new author for me, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Now I am not sure what to say about it. The story had great potential, but let’s face it the story is very long-winded. The characters didn’t start getting better till the very end for me. As for the pace of the story, let’s just say, not only is the story long-winded, but it seemed to take forever to get where you’re going with it. I couldn’t keep my attention on the story so it took me a bit longer to get through it.

Lucas is a man in the fast lane of business. He is at the top of the ladder and will be flying over. He can lie through his teeth to get the outcome he wants. He is an ass that needs to be taken down to me. That is until he meets a sexy rent boy at the same time he has been told by his ex that he is getting married. He has been invited to their wedding and needs someone to go with him so no questions will be asked.

So he calls the one guy who could handle it. The sexy rentboy from the taxi. Although things don’t go as planned for them, things start heating up instead. There they are in the tropics at another person’s wedding and the heat is up.

Now as I said before it was way too long to actually enjoy. I lost my attention through most of it and skimmed parts of it. The only part of the story I liked was the ending. Well and the fact that they found love. The story, for such a long story came off rushed to me also. Which for me is a downer because not only is the name catchy, but so was the cover.

It does have great potential though so I will be looking at other stories from this author. If you like super slow burn, characters that are sexy and a bit likeable, low angst, and quite a bit of humor then this might be the story for you. I am afraid to say that it wasn’t for me though.
