Blurb: Detective Ransom interviews his ex, Allyn, a socialite and shifter, about a gala Allyn attended–another one where someone disappeared. Can Allyn and Ransom put aside past differences to solve the case or will working together push them farther apart?
Young adults are missing. Something socialite and red wolf shifter Allyn Warwick and his sister are unaware of until Allyn’s ex-lover, police detective Ransom Carlyle, interviews them because they were at one of the social gatherings when a young man disappeared.
The question then becomes, will Allyn and Ransom–who is an alpha gray wolf shifter–be able to put aside past differences to solve the case, and can they do so without letting the world know they are both shifters?
Or will trying to work together–if they survive their hunt to begin with–destroy their slowly reawakening feelings for each other?
ADVISORY- Contains moderate violence/gore
Review: This is book one in To Catch a Kidnapper series. Allyn and Ransom are both wolf shifters who were once a couple of years before until one left. Now fifty years later Ransom is back and needs help with a case he is working. In the process they use Allyn as bait.
What intrigued me the most was Allyn himself. He tried to be something he was not when they were together because he did not want people to know the real Allyn. This story is clocked full of suspense, mystery as the two try to find a kidnapper and predator before he strikes again.
Can’t wait to read the next book.
