Blurb: Restaurateur Aden Ingle has been in love with the perfect man since his fourteenth birthday. Unfortunately, his perfect boyfriend only exists in his dreams. But Aden’s always believed it was his destiny to meet his dream man, and he’s perfectly content to wait around for him to walk into his real life.
When he meets Logan Price at a Hotel/Restaurant Trade Show, he finds himself drawn to this man who shakes him out of his dream world. Pretty soon, the flesh and blood reality is becoming more appealing than the fantasy. The only problem is Logan lives half way across the country in California.
Aden’s going to have to choose whether to give up everything he’s built for himself professionally and uproot his whole life for Logan, or wait for the man from his dreams to become a reality.
Review: Ethan always gives you a story with an upbeat. I have always loved Ethan’s stories and the humor the man has. Although I am so happy there was no cheating in this story. Otherwise I might have thrown the book down. There is a lot of detail, depth and meat to this story which for me is a plus. So many authors these days are rushing through their stories just for the money where as Ethan’s stories have a lot of heart in them.
Aden is a very goofy young man, who has had dreams of a very special lover since he was a teenager. Always wondering who this man is, he doesn’t have a really good clear picture of the man though. He always had a fantasy of what his life would be like with this dream man. Then he goes to a convention and meets Logan. Logan is everything he could want in a man, except he is the one from his dreams. However in his heart he knows that Logan is the one he wants.
Logan wants Aden that is for sure. He is in California and Aden lives in Missouri. So far away but things heat up with these two from the start. This book reminds you of a comedy that is for sure. It is a story that will have you laughing your ass off, and wanting to smack them a bit. I got a kick out of their friend Finn also.
I did not much care for the ending of the book. Nor did I see the point of Rufus. It felt like Aden was falling apart in the writing. I don’t really know how to put it. The story itself was great, but it was not believable. It was just a great story for when you need a pick up though.
It was a fun story and I would definitely recommend it.
