Review: Each book in the Space Warrior collection features a different romantic couple. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives.
When Swift had been born his family had not even given him a name. His brother sold him to the slaver’s and washed his hands of him. His life was not going the way it should that is for sure. He had been taken in and made the king’s mate’s slave. To him they were best friends and enjoyed hanging together.
The thing is in their world slaves were not to be kept, but to keep him safe he had to stay in the position he was in. He absolutely hated it and gave everyone hell. He definitely had an attitude that even though he thinks makes people hate him, finds out that they just are surprised by him. He has strength that they never expected.
Though there was one guard that hated him and wanted to make his life hell. He was saved by two strangers when confronted by the man. He gave Null hell and in fact called him asshole. He was nice to the other one.
Null has found his lifemate. He was quite surprised that the words out of his mate’s mouth were combative, and he found that he liked it. He also knew that he was going to be trouble. There is quite a bit of twist to this story that you will find fascinating. For one, Swift is not who he thinks he is, and will be quite surprised to find out. There are many dangers out there that come for them but Null will protect his mate. Now if he can only get him to behave and also learn to love.
