Review: Each book in the Space Warrior collection features a different romantic couple. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives.

When Swift had been born his family had not even given him a name. His brother sold him to the slaver’s and washed his hands of him. His life was not going the way it should that is for sure. He had been taken in and made the king’s mate’s slave. To him they were best friends and enjoyed hanging together.

The thing is in their world slaves were not to be kept, but to keep him safe he had to stay in the position he was in. He absolutely hated it and gave everyone hell. He definitely had an attitude that even though he thinks makes people hate him, finds out that they just are surprised by him. He has strength that they never expected.

Though there was one guard that hated him and wanted to make his life hell. He was saved by two strangers when confronted by the man. He gave Null hell and in fact called him asshole. He was nice to the other one.

Null has found his lifemate. He was quite surprised that the words out of his mate’s mouth were combative, and he found that he liked it. He also knew that he was going to be trouble. There is quite a bit of twist to this story that you will find fascinating. For one, Swift is not who he thinks he is, and will be quite surprised to find out. There are many dangers out there that come for them but Null will protect his mate. Now if he can only get him to behave and also learn to love.

Review: The first thing that drew me to this story was the fact that Olivia Black wrote it. She is one of my top five authors who are automatically bought. The second was the series name. It gives you the sex paranormal and then it gives you a sense of a man with a gun or powers. In this case a sexy vampire who hates those that hurt others. In fact he basically police’s them. To him rogues and the other evils out there need to be taken down.

Braig is one of the top agents that patrol the paranormal world. They had been searching for one that is evil but what they find is way worse. Small men in cages, chained down, so thin that they look like they are wasting away and scared out of their minds.

However one of those small men called to him. He has found his life mate. He was terrified out of his mind but new that he never let him go. He was also pissed as hell and wanted the blood of Morenov Ilyich. Morenov was a shifter and a human slave seller. The condition of his mate sickened him and he wanted revenge. He wanted to keep his mate safe.

Daniel had been captured, sold, beaten and starved. He was scared to death of what would happen next. So when the FPA showed up, there was one man who called to him. He didn’t want to let the man go. And he got his way. The man was going to keep him. Now he just needed to get on with his life and forget the past.
When Olivia puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.

They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a touch of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun. I can honestly say that this was a book that I truly loved.

Wanting to know where Golren is taking his goddaughter, Wren follows them to the grounds of the massive Falias Estate, a place, according to town gossip, has been shrouded in mystery for decades. Review: Each book in A Paranormal’s Love collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. Although I do have to say when the mates can get pregnant I get stoked. Talk about pay backs for females. I love the way Charlie Richards can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Charlie.

Wren is a hot, sexy human that is only worried about his god-daughter. It seems that she is seeing an older man who didn’t exist prior than seven years before. What he comes across after following her, shocks him enough to faint. He has now been introduced to the paranormal world. It didn’t get him ready for the gargoyle who is taking care of him. Although even in that form the man turns him on faster than any one ever had. He is just too damn afraid of getting hurt.

Perseus was over three hundred years old and he knew that he had given his mate a shock. He understands he has to take it a bit slow, but damn the man gets him all hot. Things heat up pretty well for them both. Perseus’s protection gets a work out when an idiot starts threatening his mate. He is after all one jealous and very protective man. He will protect what is his no matter what.

I love how they get together but for me the fact that Wren is scared of certain parts of the relationship, he is not afraid of the paranormal aspect of it all. He just doesn’t want to get hurt.

However to most he got over it pretty quick, but you will realize that it is the part of mating for Paranormal’s.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Blurb: Professor Derek Rutledge is hated and feared by all of his students. Strict, reserved and ruthless, he doesn’t tolerate mistakes and has little patience for his students.

Shawn Wyatt is a twenty-year-old struggling to provide for his younger sisters after the death of their parents. On the verge of losing his scholarship, Shawn becomes desperate enough to go to Professor Rutledge.

Everyone says Rutledge doesn’t have a heart. Everyone says he’s a ruthless bastard. Shawn finds out that everyone is right. He strikes a deal with Rutledge, but unexpectedly, the deal turns into something so much more.

Something all-consuming and addictive. Something neither of them wants.

Warning: explicit M/M sex, teacher-student relationship.

Review: This book had me a little conflicted. I both liked it and hated certain parts.

I actually liked both characters. Shawn is a young college student trying to make it through school and try to take care of his twin toddler sisters. He was a stand up young man for trying to do right by them. Rutledge is really an asshole and I liked him anyway, or maybe because he is. He seems so cold and unfeeling. He does slowly warm up.

The start to their relationship was a little bit of a cliché. But it was balanced out by the other elements added to the story to make it a bit different from the norm. There were the little girls who had a hand in slowly melting Rutledge iceman act. The are some pretty funny scenes between Shawn and Rutledge. I really enjoyed their wacky back and forth deal they had going on. And the sex was hot, so always a plus.

Both Shawn and Rutledge have their own issues that make things difficult on their path to love. And they are very different things.
Shawn has to come to terms with the fact that he likes gay sex. This is where some parts I hated are. He keeps saying he is straight, but keeps pushing the sexual boundaries with Rutledge until finally he gives it up. This could just be me, but sometimes the “gay for you” theme gets a little annoying with the denial aspect. I was very happy when Shawn stopped questioning his attraction and enjoyment of Rutledge.

Rutledge has to deal with finally finding someone who he doesn’t get bored with after a few times. His father has done a real number on him over the years, so Rutledge tends to keep people at a distance. Between Shawn and the girls he learns there are some people he wants to keep in his life.

So aside from annoying me with some stuff, this was pretty well written and an enjoyable read. I have to say my favorite person in the whole thing was Derek Rutledge. His ability to be who he is and not care if people liked it or not was pretty awesome. I love people like that.
