Blurb: Théoden: Dante is within my grasp. I’m actually very excited to meet my future son. He’s got wolf’s blood flowing within his veins, so I know he’ll be the stubborn sort, but I do like a challenge. As for Deacon, the wolf Alpha has surprised me. I hadn’t expected him to locate Dante so quickly. He’s a cunning one I’m going to have to keep my eye on. His ambition is both admirable and dangerous. As for my King’s decree, things are moving along smoothly. I have two more children to sire and then I would have fulfilled my duty. The sooner I’m done with that, the quicker I can get to training my new child. I’m so looking forward to breaking him in.

Noel: As for my obligation to the King, I met his expectations. I’ve sired my first son and it’s been one hell of an experience. I thought I would feel overwhelmed, but Romeo is taking to this life so naturally. I guess you could say that I chose wisely. I’m also getting the hang of being in control and being his Father. No doubt, Marco’s training is seeing me through a lot of transition. Now, I have to hold up my part in the bargain Théoden made with Deacon. Can’t say I’m happy about being used as a bargaining chip, but it’s out of my hands. As for my training with Marco, he’s promised to put me through the ringer physically. I’m ready to learn more and grow stronger.

Warning: This serial contains strong adult content not meant for sensitive eyes. The novelettes in this serial will be filled with dark, twisted, raunchy and steamy scenes between powerful, sexy men that will either offend you or get ya revved up. This series will not be pulling any punches, and it won’t apologize for hurting your feelings, either. You’ll find no fluff and ruffles here. The vampires are not misunderstood, hopeless romantics looking for love. The werewolves are not cute and cuddly and the dragons aren’t the ones from your childhood. This is NOT a romance. There are approximately 34,600 words in this novelette.

Review: Evolution, the finale to Season 2, by Nicholas Bella is filled with intrigue and deception. Nicholas continues to captivate you with his originality and creativity that outshines the last with each new installment. Evolution certainly delivered as the fifth and final book to The House of Théoden.

Through this season many changes were made, alliances formed, and decrees fulfilled. Théoden set out to accomplish several goals and he completed them all. Forming an alliance with Deacon, the alpha wolf, was for one resolution only; to find Dante, the half-breed.

What is a season finale if not to entice you and fill your mind full of suspicion and your heart with deceit? Well, there is definitely some deceit going on and my suspicious mind can’t help but wonder if “He who chooses to deceive will be deceived himself”, Lol. There are quite a few surprises and revelations and some that had my eyebrows lifting. Even Théoden was surprised by some, and that is saying something as that sexy vampire knows everything.

Noel continues to be a pleasant surprise. He has had some pretty rough handling and treatment this season, but he has embraced it, at last, and is going to make one badass vampire and general. I love the way he is choosing to train his own son. He is being firm yet still takes into consideration how he felt during his own training.

He refuses to be a push-over, however, and lashes out or reprimands when needed – as he still craves and needs his own acceptance from Théoden. Noel is finally getting a taste of his own power and he loves it.

There are quite a few new characters introduced and I’m sure as we continue further into the New Haven Series we will see and learn more about each one. Nicholas has cleverly intertwined the vampires, the dragons, and the werewolves where they each need the other. Whether they all realize that before it’s too late is something we will have to wait and see. I’m not sure how it’s going to play out but I have no doubt it will be a thrilling journey.

Nicholas continues to wow you with his descriptive narrative as the vampires engage in copious amounts of sex and foreplay that will have you either fanning yourself or blushing. Either way, it is hot and riveting and one hell of a good time. I know some don’t care for Ryan, Bruce’s son, but I absolutely love him. He puts a smile on my face every time and I can clearly vision him as he taunts his “Daddy” for more. He begs so sweetly that of course Bruce can only comply.

And…wow, Nicholas! You sneaky little devil, lol. All I’m going to say here in regards to the ending – I did not see that coming. Now my mind will be in constant turmoil until Season 3 arrives. Well played Nicholas!

Blurb: 23 YEARS AGO, HANK MERRIWEATHER WALKED AWAY WITHOUT EVEN SAYING GOOD BYE. NOW HE’S HANGING BY A THREAD – AND THE ONLY MAN WHO CAN SAVE HIM IS THE ONE HE LEFT BEHIND.

Beaumont Marshall taught Hank what it was to be a man, and what it was to be with a man. Rejected by his family and with no future, Hank never expected to see that mug again. Now Beau was sitting behind a small-time hoodlum’s desk in a secret office, with a gun trained on Hank’s midsection.

Between the two old lovers there’s an itch that cries out to be scratched. But first there’s a lot of decent people who’ve lost a hell of a lot of money, and Hank’s determined to do everything he can to get some of it back for them.

If Hank can save his securities and investigation business, and his waning self-respect, in the process of exposing a huge Ponzi scheme, so much the better. But Beau Marshall looks like he’s on the wrong side of the law, and of decency, and that puts him squarely in Hank’s way.

Hank has one last try at redemption, even when it means putting himself in danger. Sometimes a man has to make hard decisions to finish the business at hand.

Then there’s Beau Marshall, still so attractive after all these years. Only one thing’s for sure: Beau Marshall is definitely unfinished business — of the sexiest kind.

This novella contains adult language and M/M sex scenes only suitable for readers over 18.

Review: Even though this books is based around a security and investigative agency there is moderate suspense, intrigue and not a lot of drama, an easy short read, and can be read in a day depending on your reading habits. Depending on how you feel about this one you may want to look out for book two. This is my first time reading one of DG Miller’s books and I would read his books in the future.

Hank Merriweather, owner of Merriweather Security and Investigations, was hired to get proof and expose Eddie Beaton for the crook that he is, his client, who also happens to be his friend is depending on him and he cannot fail, not only that, he needed the business if even to prove that at 42 he can still cut it. After doing time in the Army and Law Enforcement, Hank decided to open his own security company, but client are hard to come by.

While working the case he chased down a kid who jumped a fence leaving Hank gasping for breath so he decided to search the car the kids abounded instead and then hit Eddie’s office later that night. He just never expected to find his ex, Beaumont T Marshall, sitting in Eddie’s office behind his desk point a gun in his direction. Hank though that Beau had switched side since he last saw him 23 years ago, but when Beau flirted with him after just minutes after their meeting again he realize that he still wanted him, but turned him down.

For Beau, when he saw Hank again he remember how he had left town without saying goodbye, Beau has never forgotten Hank, he met him when he was only 19, and he recognized him again instantly. He thought that they had a great thing going. That is until Hank skipped town and disappeared.

To cover his reason for being in Eddie’s office and to distract Hank or so he told himself, he offered to meet him somewhere neutral to catch up for old times’ sake. But Hank turned him down flat, and left him wanting to see more of him. When he ran into him days later and they fell in bed together, the flames still as hot as ever. He decided that he would get Hank back. But, before his plans goes into action, Hank calls him up needing his help with a thumb drive he got from the car he searched while chasing the kid.
This book doesn’t pack a whole lot of intense heat, however you will still have fun reading Hank and Beau’s journey, and even though the book ends their story does not. You will meet them again when Hank and Beau join forces to start their very own security and investigative agency in book two.

Review: Well written intriguing book with so many plots and twists it left me in an awed state. While I enjoyed reading the story as it progressed I did have a few problems with story itself. I firmly believe you shouldn’t get married for any reason but love. So Nicholas marrying for status was just wrong not to mention he cheats on his wife with Ben. Those two things turned me against both characters immediately.

I am m/m reader so a book that mentions a wife I don’t want to read. But I will admit I liked reading about the secrets and the lives both Ben and Nik lead minus the marriage part. These two guys seemed intense at times but showed hardly any emotions. Their so called relationship kept confusing me as it seemed Ben didn’t know what he wanted.

I loved the black ops, agents or whatever you want to call it aspect of this complex story which explained in a way the lack of emotions throughout the book. The action scenes seemed to be a little lacking in my opinion.

All in all it was pretty good read.

I liked it.

Blurb: Continuing from the first book in the series (Never Too Early: The Beginning), Chance and Tucker and Jake and Tor find themselves involved in a friendship that goes much deeper than any of them initially suspected.

Jake has been released from the hospital following his fall from the roof, and Chance and Tucker agree to stay in Arkansas for several days to help Tor with Jake’s care. Chance, however, spends much of his time trying to resist the growing attraction he has for Jake. The confusion between the love he has for Tucker and the new feelings for Jake play tricks with Chance’s mind. Is any of this a good idea, or are all of them headed for disaster?

For his part, Jake has to reconcile not only his growing feelings and physical attraction to Chance, but also the promises he and Tor made to each other. They rebuilt their own relationship in the wake of mistakes neither one of them wishes to repeat.  How much communication and longing can one — or two — relationships take?

Review: Cowboys and Firemen and switching partners, oh my! The premise: Take two established, well known, well loved couples and throw them together and let the sparks fly where they may – what a risk! I’ll do a quick breakdown – Tory Temple first gave us firemen Chance and Tucker in her Heat series, which WAS hot and DID make me fall in love with her men. Chris Owen brought cowboys Jake and Tor to life in her Bareback series where they ripped my heart into a bazillion pieces before they put it back together again, sort of. But I loved them too. Do you need to read these books first? Probably not, but for the history of the men involved and their relationships it would be a very good idea.

You DO however, need to read the first book in THIS series, Never Too Early: The Beginning. Never Too Early: Finding Their Way picks up right where it leaves off. These two wonderful writers did their due diligence from the start. There was attention to detail, great respect to character history, and the forging of a bond that started with the pairing of these two couples as friends, evolving into more.

As Owen and Temple continued to nurture and grow the relationships between these strong and sexy characters, the slow build and burn continued. Throughout the progression, there were moments of confusion, moments of jealousy, and it all felt very real. I was curious to see where these men would take me, and what would happen next. I loved the interaction, the closeness, and let’s be honest, the sex. You knew eventually there was going to be some hooking up and some fun, some partner switching. Chris Owen and Tory Temple write some steaming hot sex, so yes, I was absolutely looking forward to that!

I loved the drama, angst and all the things that these authors do so well. Tensions do run high; there most certainly is trouble in what is not always paradise, and of course the cliff they leave you hanging off of is a trip as well. What a bumpy ride this turned out to be after the smooth sailing of the first book. Hit me in the gut, for sure!!! Makes you want to read the next one. NOW. To see what happened. Because the title is Finding Their Way, but dammit, they really haven’t. Not yet.

They earned four hearts from me, one for each of their sexy men. And while I did love this, there were a few issues that did bring it down from a five, that I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention.  I felt like I wanted to know MORE. Needed to know MORE. This is almost entirely Chance and Jake’s POV, and I really needed Tor and Tucker’s side of the story. Furthermore, a lot of things happened ‘off book’, and there seemed to be a lack of communication, and sometimes respect. After the careful deliberation and attention to detail of the first book, I wasn’t expecting that. But wow, what a story. And holy hot!!! And yes, what a book hangover!!!!

Chris Owen and Tory Temple are trying to kill me, yes they are. Am I being dramatic? Maybe a little. Seriously, though… If you love Chance, Tucker, Jake and Tor… or you want to love them, give this one a go. Honestly, I’d check the whole series out if you think you can handle it. It’s a hell of a ride, but man, is it worth it!!!

Blurb: Running away twenty years ago didn’t mean Gael could ever escape his past.

Gael Martinez fled the small Texas town of Del Rey the minute he turned sixteen. Legal or not, he had to leave or end up dead. Life’s been hard, and everything Gael ever hoped for has been stripped from him. He’s close to giving up, so worn down from fighting to live every day. When incredible information reaches him that gives him a reason to hang in there, at least a little longer, Gael is afraid to hope for a better life.

An accidental encounter leads to him being told things have changed with the coyote den that had been floundering in Del Rey years ago. Miller Hudson, the coyote shifter alpha, had found his mate, and the den was now flourishing—and the biggest miracle of all, some of the shifters could now actually shift.

As tempted as that makes him to return, it could all be a bunch of lies and Gael is still hesitant, even though he yearns to go home. There’s no point if he’s only likely to be killed. Dying at another’s hands isn’t the way Gael ever intends to die.

It’s only upon discovering the changes regarding some of the humans in Del Rey that allow Gael to truly consider going home.

What he finds in the small town is more than just a home. He finds himself, and the man he’s always meant to be.

Review: I felt so many feelings for Gael as he struggled to just live. Was glad when the Coyote shifters found him and helped him. Gael was on the brink of giving up. But what was worse was finding out the horrible events that sent him running so many years before.

Iker is a wolf shifter, a cop, and Gael’s mate. He seemed shocked at finding out he had another mate after the loss of his wife. This story has a few twists in it that I did not see coming. It keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens.

Just when things seem the most hopeless a ray of light comes in and shows you have something to fight and live for. I loved this story so much. It was filled with danger, action, meeting new people and adjusting to a new life than the one that was left. Well written and highly recommended. Looking forward to reading the next book in this riveting heart stopping series by Bailey Bradford. She never ceases to amaze me with her books.
