Blurb: Harper Brooks refuses to be anybody except who he is, and who he is shocks most people. When he meets a gorgeous man at a sidewalk café, he has no problem telling him exactly what he wants—in vivid detail. When Memphis rejects him, Harper hides his hurt behind flippant words and a flash of indignation, but forgetting the man might prove impossible.

Memphis doesn’t know what to think when he’s propositioned by an imp with dreamy blue eyes and an ass to die for. He doesn’t do relationships—ever—and one night spent in the gorgeous man’s bed isn’t enough. Memphis wants more. He just knows he can’t have it. Nights of passion could lead to the sexy little diva dying at the hands of Memphis’s beast.

When Harper gets kidnapped by a madman, Memphis runs to the rescue, and in doing so reveals his darkest secret. But there is a lot more going on than either of them know, especially when the bond between them creates more than either of them expected.

Review: Harper is flamboyant, vibrate, outrageous, and says what he thinks and wants. When he happens to notice a chipped nail he stops at a sidewalk cafe to dig for his nail file. He doesn’t even care that the table has already been taken. Once he fixes his little emergency he finally notices that hot and sexy man sitting at the table. So he starts to flirt with the man and states what he would like to do with him, and gets turned down.

Memphis has no clue to what to make of the man who propositions him. The over-the-top diva is far from his normal pickups. But even does later he can’t stop thinking about him or imagining what being with him would be like. So Memphis decides to go to Harper one night. Memphis ends up getting a whole hell of a lot more than he thought he would.

These two are very hot and sexy together. Maybe a little kinky even as they can barely keep their hands off each other. I liked that they just accept each other as they are. Neither tries to change the other. They are just happy to have found their other half.

I loved Harper. He is just so free and happy to be himself. He knows not many people understand him. But he won’t change who he is. His reaction to finding out about werewolves is pretty funny. His whole demeanor turns the rest of the pack on their ears. Harper takes everything thrown at him and accepts Memphis and his pack. He helps to make things better for them all. Plus he definitely brought a good amount of humor to the story.

There were a couple of things I questioned. Let the first night they were together. Without giving away too much, I didn’t exactly like how it came about, although it was very steamy. There was another time, but really it was the circumstances I didn’t like.

All in all, I really did enjoy this book. It’s not billed as a series, but I honestly hope Stormy Glenn makes it into one. There are definitely avenues for more books dealing with the secondary characters.

Review: Lobster cove is a new series spun off of the popular Cattle Valley Ranch series. With Cattle Valley filling up and many more LGBT people requesting a place there, Asa has purchased a town in New England.

I loved this first book of the series. We met Boone travelling with his brother Landon (Laddy). Laddy has Downs Syndrome and d Boone got guardianship after his mother passed away. Life hasn’t been easy and had put in his application for Cattle Valley after his lover left him shortly after he got Custody. When Asa told him that Cattle Valley was full but there were opening on Lobster Cove Boone jumped at the chance for a clean start for himself and Laddy. He quickly got a job putting up stone on Dante’s new restaurant.

Dante was an up and coming chef that lost nearly everything when his business partner up and left taking most of the money. Sparks flew instantly between these guys when they met.
This was such a great start to a new series. The story line is interesting and new intriguing characters sprinkled about.

There are lots of characters, though the main focus is on Boone, Dante with Ava and Laddy as their secondary characters. The extra characters add dimension and interest through the story. Once you start reading you are pulled in and before I knew it I was done several hours later.

If you like lust at first sight, fast-moving relationships, realistic settings and stories, cute kids, and a very sweet and hot relationship this is for you!

Blurb: When Sean wins a powerboat in a mail-order sweepstakes, he and Asbjorn fly to the Bahamas to pick it up. They’ve been married for two years, slaving to finish school and to make ends meet. Instead of intimate quality time, they’ve been passing each other like two ships in the night.

How far Sean and Asbjorn drifted apart becomes painfully clear as they’re stuck on the boat together. Don and Adrian sail down to meet them for a relaxing get-together. Sean’s mind drifts to an old invitation to swing with their best friends, while Asbjorn takes ill-advised risks on the sea. Nature intervenes. Marooned on a deserted island where cell service winks in and out, they have no way of knowing when help will arrive. Survival’s at stake, and they have only each other to lean upon.

The solitude and struggle against the elements forces these two stubborn, loving men to finally talk.

And then a body washes up on the shore.

Review: Sean and Asbjorn have been through a lot in their short time together. With the killer that had painted a target on Sean’s back finally out of the picture, the two of them pushing to finish college and now a married couple, one would think they can finally have that happy ever after they’ve heard so much about. Yeah, not so much.

The pressure to finish their degrees leaves them exhausted and stressed. They begin to move like ships in the night, briefly passing. Sean takes ill because of an undue issue at the lab he’s working at, and he still has nightmares about the past. Asbjorn as well is not feeling himself, all the strain and stress of the past three years have caused an ulcer, literally.

The problem is they are both so worried about worrying each other, that they keep these things to themselves. When Sean gets a letter in the mail telling him he has won a boat he and Asbjorn head off to claim said boat and have a little vacation, spend some quality time together. But if these two didn’t have bad luck, well they wouldn’t have any at all. First the boat turns out to be scarcely more than a life raft, then they get stranded on an island, oh, and a body washes up on shore.

What I liked about this book was how Pavelle took the issue out of the equation for these two. Life in general is getting in the way of them communicating and putting a serious strain on their still new marriage. So they wind up the only two people on this gorgeous island and are forced to talk and find their way back to each other, remember why it was they fell in love in the first place. And that fiery passion that these two have shared since day one that they lost a little bit while Asbjorn was trying to keep Sean safe was back in spades.

What I didn’t like was that the entire story felt rushed and far-fetched. And then almost half of the book was spent with Don and Adrian sailing, en-route to meet up with Sean and Asbjorn and those two dealing with some issues in their relationship. It didn’t flow well between the two storylines that split the book into pieces that came across like jagged rocks.

If you’ve been following this series, then you definitely should read this final installment so you have some closure. For me though, it could have been a novella with just Sean and Asbjorn’s part of the story, and then a little peppering throughout of Don and Adrian as they sail their way. Just an okay read for me.

Review: A sweet story about two guys who each have to make decision of which road to take in their lives. I really liked how the story played out though I wish it had been longer. Clete and Tal are very different from another but seemed to be well suited for the other.

Good read.

Review: This had an interesting story plot, but I felt there wasn’t enough of it. It could have been a lot better. Narcissus seemed conceited and self-absorbed about his looks. Eleiades seemed very controlling and tricked Narcissus into releasing him from where he was.

Narcissus and Eleiades relationship at first seems forced and strained but gets better. I didn’t understand why Zeus had Eleiades do what he did to Narcissus, though I did understand wanting to keep your son alive.

Review: I enjoyed the story of Robert and Matt. The thing I liked most was that Robert followed what he wanted instead of what his friends were saying. Although I did think there was going to be more to the story than there actually was.

The secret Matt has was  somewhat of a surprise. I thought maybe Matt hiding something may have turned Robert against wanting to be with him, due to being betrayed before.

The is a lot of hot sex in this book. Good read.
