Review: Are you familiar with Sage Marlowe? If you haven’t experienced the pleasure of reading his stories, the Romeo and Julian series is an excellent place to start. A Thief on Christmas Eve is the first book, in most likely, a five book series. You will be introduced to the key players, their histories, and their backgrounds. As each piece of the puzzle comes together, you will be searching for more info in order to get the full picture. As the blurb explains this is written in one point of view.
This first book in the series is an introduction of the two MC’s Romeo and Julian. Julian Harris is a FBI agent who for three years has been gathering information on the elusive art thief Romeo. Up until now, no one has gotten close enough to learn anything too incriminating about him. All he really knows is that Romeo is charming, charismatic, and obviously very smart as he keeps evading capture. Julian feels he has enough info and has studied his actions enough that he knows where he will go for his next heist. One problem, however, it’s Christmas Eve. Manpower is limited due to the holiday, plus….No one really believes he will show. Julian decides to go anyway without back up. That’s how confidant he is of his next move.
It’s a blizzard outside, phone lines are down, and electricity is questionable. Julian can only hope that this goes as smoothly as possible. Calling for back up is out of the question and even if he did have someone to call, they wouldn’t make it very far with the severe weather conditions. Julian can’t worry himself with these details because Romeo has just entered the house. Julian is at a loss for words at first because Romeo is younger than he thought, better looking that he had pictured, and he has a killer smile that obviously works well for him.
Romeo is not your average thief. If he was, he would have been captured before now. Julian feels he can let his guard down because it’s a
known fact Romeo doesn’t carry firearms plus there is a blizzard coming down which means no one can get in so therefore no one can get out. Romeo uses these things to his advantage as well and it’s not long before he is seducing Julian. There is an instant attraction between them so what could it possibly hurt to take advantage of their situation. Kissing leads them to the bedroom where you will witness a very hot, intense, all night romp. For one night they have forbidden pleasure, they taste, explore, experience what each have to offer and when morning comes………..HE’S GONE. ROMEO IS GONE!!! How will Julian explain to his superiors that he let Romeo escape? Will he even tell them he showed? Julian made a connection that night and he is sure Romeo felt it too. Will he ever see him again? What happens next will have you holding your breath, while reading faster, to see where the story will lead.
Sage Marlowe will have you going thru twists and turns at warp speed never being completely sure where you may land. There is a real life feel of mystery and suspense that will have you gripping the sides of your electronic device. The author continually moves the plot forward giving details and descriptions that you can easily vision and relate too. As I stated earlier, this is a series so there will be several more books to follow taking us deeper and deeper inside the mystery that has been laid out here. I highly recommend getting your copy so you can experience this amazing journey Romeo and Julian, along with the author, Sage Marlowe, has set before us. The next book in the series is, A Talented Liar. I can’t wait to see what the next adventure brings.

Blurb: Lake is a 20-year-old apprentice in the small village of Gaeburn, Monarchy Rae. The kingdom is on the fantasy Isle of Blid, where social values are medieval, and tolerance is not in the lexicon.
When a huge, gorgeous man from the village of Terrymide comes through town, Lake is enamored with the man’s confidence and astoundingly muscled physique. The “Manman” stirs in Lake feelings that should not be stirred in a man. He makes Lake want to do the “unspeakable.” The townsfolk band together to make sure this Manman (a man who does the thing with a man— and not a lady) doesn’t engage in the unspeakable while in Gaeburn, or corrupt any of the innocent villagers. But when Lake’s unspeakable desires are aroused, he makes his own plans.

Review: This is definitely a strange story. In a time where men who have sex with men can be stoned or another type of punishment. It actually left me with more questions than answers. However, to me it comes off a bit humorous. It is a kingdom on a fantasy Isle of Blid. The village’s sees men that have sex with men as unspeakable. Bull comes riding in from Terrymide, just passing thru but when he notices the apprentice, he knows he will be coming back to this village. Even though he knew of the warnings. However, the men of Terrymide are big bear types. It would take more than a group of village men to take him down.
Lake is enamored by the gorgeous man from Terrymide. He wants to see what more this man has to offer. Knowing full well that he will get punished for it. Just looking at Bull, Lake wants to do the unspeakable and his lust is aroused to higher heat than he had ever felt before.
They even send another village man to Terrymide to get the proof that these men are Manmen. However when Reed gets back he dares not tell the truth for he knows he will get the same punishment that they are promising Lake that he will get. Lake confesses to Reed, but Reed tells him that he needs to leave and not come back. Lake wants Bull and will run if needed.
This story is a good one but it is told in a tone that left me wanting something more. I did like the story but I want more from a romance and this just didn’t give it to me. I do love Lake and Bull. They are very sexy men who want each other. I don’t much care for a bunch of idiots in a village thinking that there is something so wrong with men who sleep with men that they are willing to stone someone. It is barbaric to me. It has a great story line that if twisted just a bit different would be a perfect story.

Blurb: It’s all in her head. Until she falls into the hands – and hearts – of two cowboys.
Sexual dysfunction. The words make Sybill cringe, but after one too many failed relationships, she has to face reality. Her O-button is broken, big time. Sick of sitting on the sexual sidelines, she books a week at Boot Knockers Ranch. If a passel of rugged cowboys vying to bring her bliss can’t get her off, nothing will.
Hugh had planned to sit out this week’s rotation of sexual therapy, but when he spots sultry Sybill, he pulls rank. His bone-deep urge to possess her isn’t enough to coax elusive orgasms out of her body, though. And his resolve to give the lady whatever she needs wavers when she shyly makes a mind-blowing request.
Riggs stepped aside when Hugh muscled in to claim Sybill, but he jumps at the chance to fulfill her ultimate fantasy – a threesome. But once they come together, all barriers are stripped away, exposing his love for the one man – and woman – he’d break every last rule to make his own.
Warning: This ain’t your daddy’s ranch. Contains cowboys administering sexual therapy to frustrated ladies – and each other. Fresh batteries recommended. You’re gonna need ’em!
Review: Pushin Buttons is the first book in this series. I will say it felt like a series that was already established since it didn’t talk much about the background of the Boot Knockers Ranch. It almost felt like a spinoff or second book. I would have liked to know why it was formed, whose Idea, it was mentioned the Cowboys owned and ran it but never said which cowboys or why. I would have liked a bit more detail on that. Also, Hugh kept mentioning a first love Travis but we got very little on that.
Having said that, I loved the story. Here is a little about the story.
Hugh is the Master of Games or the leader. He usually only fills in if one of the men needs a break, is off. He also does a few thirds if Riggs needs one. When he sees Sybill, he wants her in ways he has never wanted a woman and fights for her. Riggs also wants Sybill though she isn’t his chosen client for the week he too fights for her, not caring if he is breaking the rules. (Which there seems to be a lot of rules between the men, which I would have liked to know more about.) When Hugh wins, that leaves Riggs with no client for the week.
Riggs and Hugh secretly hook up on their down time and have several threesomes with clients. Riggs wants more with Hugh. Hugh has been burned nice and keeps his heart shut off. Will Sybill break those barriers? Will Riggs be left out in the cold? Will Sybill ever be able to orgasm? I’m not telling. You will have to read the book.
It is a character driven story and I absolutely loved all the characters. There were a few cowboys mentioned in short spurts and I hope that means we will be getting stories on them soon. The cowboys give sexual therapy to women with problems. This story is about Sybill, a guest at the ranch. She has come for therapy because she can’t find sexual release and has never had an orgasm. She is a scientist, not a skinny model type on the outside but on the inside she is sexy, fun, and eclectic. I loved that this character is not your average romance beauty. She isn’t perfect, she is very likeable. Hugh is mysterious and sexy and Riggs is just plain hot.
The plot of the story is very sexual since it is a sex therapy ranch. There is a lot of sex and I will say it is extremely steamy and never gets monotonous.
If you like hot cowboys, dude ranches, strong female characters, broken men, broken women, a sweet romance, a sexy ménage, and lots of steamy hot sex, this is definitely for you.

Blurb: Sometimes the last thing you expect is exactly what you need.
Richard is a typical neurotic gay urbanite, a serial monogamist with a domineering peer group and a well-paying dead-end job. That is until one night, while stumbling home drunk, Richard finds a puppy named Hambone. Almost immediately, Richard’s life and his relationships begin to change. At the recommendation of Evelyn, his neighbor across the hall, Richard hires a dog trainer named Abe. From the moment Richard hears Abe’s voice on the phone he feels a connection with this professional pooch-handler. When they meet face-to-face, the attraction is palpable. Richard loves the way Abe treats Hambone. Abe opens Richard’s eyes to a different take on life and what really matters.
Will love conquer all in the end? It will if Hambone has any say in the matter.
Review: This was a charming little story. It has wonderful men that you will fall in love with and wish that you were right there with them. Watching and learning from them both. Richard is a typical neurotic gay urbanite with lousy taste in friends and exes. When Richard and his boyfriend broke up, Richard took up drinking and eating lots of carbs. Then one night, while walking home drunk he hears this cry. After his muddled mind lets him focus, he goes to see what is there. What he found about tore his heart out. Three puppies, two of them were dead but one was still alive. The puppy just knows that this man is his hero. He jumps into his arms and Richard takes him home.
When his neighbor Evelyn recommends hiring someone to train Hambone and maybe walk him he ends up calling Abe. However when Richard hears Abe’s voice he is drawn to him. Drawn to him in a way he never expected. Abe has seen Richard out with his friends but they never noticed him.
Abe awakes Richards feelings to a strong point. He shows Richard how good life can be. Even when he is poor, he still feels like he is alive. He wants to show Richard the way. The way starts with showing him that all he has to do to make Hambone happy is to love him. The same way all he has to do is to love Abe also.
It made me cry when Evelyn’s dog had to be put down due to cancer. Both Richard and Abe helped her get through her loss. It just shows how tender both these men are. It is just so cute the way Richard just starts to bond with the pup and when his feelings start getting stronger with Abe. I do wish that this story were just a bit longer, because once I started reading it my attention was caught. I loved it and cannot wait to check out the rest of Owen’s stories. He has a great gift that just seems to make ones day brighter.

Review: This is a sequel to Sex, Ties and Videotape. I do suggest you read it first or you may not get a good grasp of the characters and be a bit confused as to why Phil and Brian hate each other so much.
Phil and Geoff have just gotten back from a trip to Paris and are about to return to work. Phil is worried that since he and Geoff have been exploring a D/s relationship that all Geoff wants from him is that; a Dom he trusts and hot sex. Phil is in love with Geoff and wants more. Can he prove it to Geoff or will he run when Phil confesses his feelings? I’m not telling. You will have to buy the book and see for yourself.
When Phil pays Brian a visit, Brian is afraid Phil wants to hit him again and is surprised about the feelings that arouses in him, thinking of Geoff and Phil’s newfound D/s life. He decides to try out the new BDSM club in town and see what it’s all about.
I absolutely love Eva Lefoy. She creates some of the most wonderful characters. I love a story of a broken man, lots of angst and have found I like when these men can finally get out of the angst and have at least a happy for now ending. Eva provides plenty of this in her stories, and this is no exception.
I love Geoff. He is sexy and knows what he wants but had to learn the hard way. This story is about Brian as much as Phil and Geoff. I liked that Brian is coming to terms with his feelings. I will say that I don’t like Brian, but this book does redeem him in a way and Gar? I can’t wait to see more of him. Oh, wow!
If you like BDSM, D/s lifestyles, bondage, Kink clubs, sweet romance and of course, some hot mansex, this book is for you!

Review: This story has been previously released as part of the Stand to Attention anthology by Totally Bound Publishing. It is a wonderful story about two men who find love together. It shows me some of the bad that the military does to not only their soldiers but to the officers. They had a leak in the Medical Corps that had to be found out. Whether it was needed or not, there are other ways to get help for people.
Patrick was a Captain in the army but he had been turned down for promotion to Major several times over. So when his superior officer tells him that there might be away around it he took the chance. He was to gather information on a Captain in the Medical Corp. However when he meets Craig he senses that this is not the man who the army thought he was. He was honest, sincere and would follow all rules and regulations no matter what.
Craig fell for Patrick after the first weekend together. He wanted to see more of Patrick but when his ex comes to him with information on him, he freaks out. His ex tells him that Patrick is not there because he wants him but wants to know if he was the one leaking information. He confronts Patrick and then ends all ties to the man.
Patrick didn’t know how to prove to Craig that he did indeed want him and that it was for life. It tears your heart up to know that these two men are in pain but you feel for Patrick because he was doing his job but in truth he was trying to show that Craig was not the traitor. This story does have an ending that made me smile. I do wish that they had shown more story with the ending of it. However, I did love it. It is amazing the love you can feel that each man can have if given the time. It also shows the vengeful exes do everything to get back at someone. If you love men in uniform than this book, you will want to read. It has sexy men that will draw you in and make you fall in love with.
